Since Saturday 15th October a diverse group of activists descended on the City of London with the intention of occupying the London Stock Exchange. They are united by their desire to tackle corporate greed, growing inequality, unemployment, tax injustice and a political elite out of touch with the public.


AV: A chance to improve British politics

The referendum on May 5th gives us a rare chance to improve British politics. The new voting system proposed for electing MPs, AV (the Alternative Vote), is not the system the Green Party would have chosen. It's not proportional representation. But it is a significant improvement on the first-past-the-post system we have at present.


Suffolk Coalition for Public Services rally

Back in November, the Suffolk Coalition for Public Services held a march and rally in Ipswich. Ipswich Green Party supported the march in an act of solidarity as part of the wider Coalition of Resistance.
